:welcome: to you, Alwaysthere. You didn't specify your branch of service or experience, but as a general rule and if I were you, I'd investigate ways to get related training straight from the man. It will be:
1. Free
2. Highly recognized

One of the guys on a recent estate protection detail I supervised had worked as driver/security for an Army general AND had combat experience (sandbox) - both great business cards.
Protective details are also worked by LEOs while on the force and this is often how they get their foot in the door before hitting the civilian sector.

Otherwise, I could look up shooting/tactical training in your AO (there's instructors everywhere), but for EP, I have no idea, to be honest.

Good luck to you and please participate as much as you want! ;)

Welcome to the site Chris. You're a Pvt so I'm assuming your Army not Air Force, but Lackland has the Air Police school right there. I don't know what your MOS is but see if you can get a quota for their Personal Protection course. I also don't know what the requirements are for the school but you can look into it.

The Secret Service is not far fetched just be advised you need a college degree to apply. Good luck young man and again welcome.
