Happy New Year!
My name Miguel DeCoste and I am located in Santa Barbara, CA. I currently work in as a Public Events Manager for the University of California, but I have 17+ years experience in nightclub security, 3 years in private security, and just started my own nightclub security consulting business last year. For the past couple of years I have been making the transition to the world of Executive Protection.
I am a member of ASIS, have CA Guard Card, Exposed Firearms (9mm, .40, .45), OC/Chemical weapons, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. I've also completed S2 Institute's Bomb Security for Executive Protection. I'm currently saving up for ESI's course as well as Oatman's EP training.
I have extensive knowledge of digital and analog Photographic and Audio/Visual equipment, am PC and Mac literate, and speak fluent Italian.
My martial arts training consists of 10+ years of Jeet Kune Do and Inosanto/Lacoste Kali, Lameco Eskrima, and significant exposure to Muay Thai and Submission Grappling. I'm also a member of the Dog Brothers' Pack, and an avid Crossfitter.
Along with all that, I'm a darn good cook and grill up some mean barbecue!
