Hey SCBA
I’m sort of new here. I was signed up when this web site first came out but I never got around introducing myself. So here I am to introduce myself.
I currently live in La Crosse, WI. and have been a certified police officer here for 14 year this May. I have held several positions in my career including patrol officer, narcotics investigator, criminal investigator, school resource officer, Interim Chief of Police. I have two associates’ degrees and just received my bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and Counter Terrorism.
I started out in the private security field as a security officer, security supervisor and a private investigator. I have always had my interest in E.P work but never knew how to get involved in it until my wife and I attended Bodyguard Training International which is an Executive Protection School in Oxnard California. We were fortunate enough to get hired on by Icon Services out of St. Paul, MN where we got to work the Republican National Convention in 2008.
The unfortunate thing is the Mid West where we currently live really has no need for E.P. agents so starting this year we have made the commitment to relocate and get our foot in door. We know this is not an easy task but we are very motivated and hope to start networking to make this happen.
