Pictures as requested.
Pavones, near Golfito. The beaches here are very untouched. Not many tourists in this area.

Sunset in Pavones.

Waterfall near Poas Volcano. This is where the recent earthquake destroyed almost everything. This site is no longer accessible from what I am aware of.

Another sunset shot behind the trees in Pavones.

A picture I took while on a sport fishing trip with my client in the Pacific. We were not very prosperous. Only landed 3 Bonitas.

I am guessing some variety of a Tucan. Gorgeous colors up close.

I NEVER have seen these animals before Costa Rica. They would come very close to you in hopes of scoring some food.

Poas Volcano located in a crater.

In this shot it might be difficult to see, but past the crater is very lush green landscape. You can see for many miles here.

Me hopefully not inhaling too much of the sulfuric gas emissions.

My highly adequate transportation for Costa Rica and their notorious "worst roads in Central America" environment. Treacherous pot holes await all drivers here.

A wild caught Costa Rican Boa I got in Pavones from the jungle. I kept him/her at my house for about 11 months.

This is what happens when you keep a wild caught Boa at your house. After the second time this happened, I let him get back to what he was doing in the wild.

Thanks!
Uhh, I was told to be weary of letting them get too close. I haven't heard of anyone getting bitten, but then, I never asked. I would not be interested in trying to pet one.

I may be going down to costa rica this summer... we have associates in the area we are teaming up with to open another training academy, in addition to the one we have stateside... we should talk, as we may need additional local support... ie instructors, agents, etc...
looks beautiful!

David, I just sent you a private message but I am not confident it worked. When I went to my SENT folder, it had nothing in my sent folder to you. Let me know if you got it.

Awesome pictures Johnny. Now just think, that could be you in one of those 32s. Is that track still up and running?
