Hi to all,

I am new to the forum and it looks absolutely fantastic and i can't wait to get started.

I am in the Executive protection industry and i have been an EP agent for over 8 years.

I hold other qualifications in shooting, martial arts, surveillance, Driving, and i am also an OSINT specialist.

All the best,

J

Hey Local Talent,

Thank you for the warm welcoming.
This forum looks a bit like the American version of CPW.

Seems to be less crowded and there seems to be a better atmosphere.

I will do my best to get more European Operators on here and to get this forum known.

I am afraid my side of the pond is very quiet LT.

Nothing going on in Europe right now.

I just came back from the middle east and the only contracts that are going now for european CPO's are in Africa.

The market here is flooded and saturated and many bg's are now turning to maritime security in order to get employment

You know, it's been pretty slow here too, but that's just natural given the state of the economy. Security budgets get cut first. This being said, EP will always be more active in the US than in Europe.

Don't be afraid to chime in in tactics, gear, and other job-related threads to tell us how you guys handle things and what you can do, that's what I meant. We can all learn from others' perspectives.

If you look at the members list, you'll notice people from all over, BTW, even if the forum was created with SoCal in mind. We're young and not very crowded, as you said, and that has kept the atmosphere very friendly and open, which is not the experience I've had on others.
We're in a macho profession and people can sometimes get caught up in that. As I often say, you're supposed to take your job seriously, not yourself! :)
