Hard Summer 2009 - 8/08/09
Hard Summer is the biggest electronic music summer event in Los Angeles. Sign up for MetroWize to find out what they're going to blow us away with this year.

Detour Music Festival 2009 - 10/4/09
The LA Weekly Detour Festival takes over Los Angeles, literally. The four festival stages form a tight-knit square blockade around city hall. Santa Monica Halloween - 10/31/09
Santa Monica is THE place to be on Halloween if you live in LA. In fact, it's THE place to be if you don't live in LA. With over hundreds of thousands of Halloween-ers last year, it's going to be an epic 2009. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your I.D. because alcohol companies set up tents up and down Santa Monica Blvd, while you rock past tons of bands performing on "street stages."

SantaCon 2009 - Early December
Everyone knows about their city's Christmas party, but as with most things, LA takes it to the next level. Thousands of people cram the streets of downtown LA (so nothing new), but this time they're rocking their best Santa get-ups. Whether you're promoting a consumer cause or just want to get your drink on, SantaCon is free and worth the experience.

Giant Maximus 2009 - 12/31/09
Giant Maximus claims to be the biggest NYE 21+ celebration, and it just might be. It's a massively huge event thrown on 7 reserved acres of concrete in the middle of downtown LA. Acts include Benny Benassi, Mark Farina and Moby. NYE is a ways away, so sign up for MetroWize and stay updated on the details.
