Nopes, sorry Hawk (I remember you asking this question before). I've been trying to get agents I know to have experience in SA to answer your question about Brazil, but it's sometimes hard to convince people to join a forum. If they're busy working, they don't have the interest or the time, and if not, they only come online to ask for employment, it seems. :(

I do know we have at least one member (Secfor) operating south of the border (for us!), so I hope you'll get some answers, though.

And sorry to hear about your surgery, brother. I also hope you get over that soon.

Its just that the few contracts I do get in are all given by word of mouth, reputation and references but since I do have more time on my hand now I thought I try find out more about these tenders.
In the past Ive helped so many guys on jobs, but they are youre best friend when searching for employment and after they got their job you never hear of them, but thats how it is but also people training with other providers and then call or email me saying hey, I know youre experienced can you have a look at my CV and help me out on a job..
In the past I still where nice and assisted now I tell them ask your training provider since you picked them..atleast then they are off my back.
Well it was worth trying..
Cheers
Hawk

Hey guys,

I have some experience securing contracts (training & security) in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Mexico as well as U.S. Government contract procurement and management here in the states.

Most of my focus is in Northern Mexico currently, where we are looking to break ground on a training facility next month.

What kind of information are you looking for?

Rick

you might want to check out MPRI.com or Global security. Also we just got our Govt lic to start doing govt contracts. we also have office locations in Peru, Isreal, and are bidding jobs in Africa and middle east. if you would like to send me your resume, I could forward it on or keep it for possible work in the future.

Hi Mark
Thanks please understand Im not searching for employment at this stage, I have worked in Iraq and Afghanistan for other companies doing convoys, cp and even jetfuel convoys. Since I run my own small business and I have a few contracts in Saudi now and then I hope to find out how to gain more own contracts for my firm.
The majority of the US companies dont subcontract to foreigners its sad since we do have excellent training and communication skills but like one US recruiter who kalled me thought Sweden was in Africa and I was living in tent so the 2000 usd he offered me would be great monthly pay for me..
Well I dont live in a tent and I have a nice house..lol**

well I do appreciate your offer but I would like to get more work for my company instead of working myself as an employee.
I have no problem to subcontract on small projects but where I can use my company and have employees out like I had in the past.
So Im trying to find out if someone could give some ideas where to find these tenders so I can learn little about this..
All the best,

Hawk
