WikiLeaks posts possible CIA report

As a libertarian, I'm all for transparency in government. And the internet (and hackers like Assange) do play a necessary part in our democratic process. Checks and balances and all that.

This out of the way, it's also clear to me that, in the immortal words of Col. Jessup in A Few Good Men, the masses generally "can't handle the truth". And if "the truth shall set us free"... it can also seriously compromise national security and that's unacceptable.

How can WikiLeaks be certain that the thousand of docs released, and to be released, won't cost US lives? Or simply jeopardize US interests? Did Assange personally go over them all? And if he did, is he qualified to say? Did he put a team of geopolitical analysts with intelligence and military creds on the case prior to firebombing?

So whistle-blowers: yes. Anarchists: no. Until someone comes up with a better plan, they should shut the hell up and quit undermining US efforts in Afghanistan or anywhere else.
Trumped up rape charges? Boo-hoo-hoo... Try to pull that crap with China.
